The 2013 RISE and FIRE Shooting Challenge called for mission sharpshooter Will Thomas to make 3,300 3-point baskets over Labor Day weekend to heighten awareness concerning the service and sacrifices of the AFSOC community and raise funds for the causes and loved ones of the fallen heroes of Extortion 17: Andrew Harvell, John Brown, and Daniel Zerbe, working with the Air Commando Association Foundation and That Others May Live Foundation. WINGS FOR WARRIORS Labor Day Op Nets $2,000+ for SOF Charities

OpHawkeye mounted a successful “quick-strike” operation, WINGS FOR WARRIORS, over Labor Day Weekend 2013, raising $2,000 (and rising) thanks to solid turnout from mission members in Iowa, Florida, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, as well as to the generosity of participating eateries which donated a percentage of proceeds from food sales to OHe member charities. ACA and Operation Hawkeye, Making a Difference Together
